The Green Party is a different way of looking at politics. We are a countywide organization of citizens working to set a political, social and economic framework to provide a peaceful, just and environmentally sustainable world for the generations to come. As part of the worldwide Green Movement we envision a global society of hope and true prosperity founded on the four Green principles of Ecology, Social Justice, Democracy and Nonviolence. We make common cause with the grassroots movements for the protection of all the flora and fauna of our environment, for peace, for safe and sustainable energy, for sustainable communities, for international justice and democracy, and for the rights of all peace and justice seeking peoples and groups: workers, women, gays, people with disabilities, people of color, indigenous peoples and other minorities.

We support the full array of nonviolent means to establish a just society including rallies, demonstrations, boycotts, citizen initiatives, civil disobedience, building alternative institutions, and electoral politics. We will, in pursuit of our goals, seek the support of all people. Our shared purpose is to find the path to an evolving sustainable society.
